I started looking for a job 1.5 years ago (1 if you discount the time off for major medical issues).
But I am not ON “Unemployment”, so I don’t count in these stats.
I could easily get a menial job, but I am trying to get back into the professions.
Good luck to you! It has to be incredibly frustrating to hear how wonderful the economy is while you can’t find the work you want.
