One fascinating tidbit in the first link is that the God being was described as having 72 associates/angels. Could this be where Islam got the 72 virgins??

It provides an interesting dichotomy in that Judas betrays Jesus but ends up in Paradise anyway as having been the necessary agent to insure Jesus’ death, sacrifice and resurrection.
As a disclaimer, I’m agnostic about the Gospel as I’m more an OT advocate, though I have a fair enough grasp of NT theology to know the United States could never have been founded without it.
