Former Congresswoman Co-Chairs Coalition To Combat Police Terrorism

On Monday, January 5th Former Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney announced that she will co-chair the National Coalition to Combat Police Terrorism (NCCPT) with former Black Panther Leader Dhoruba Bin Wahad. The press conference was lead by newly elected National Coordinator Kalonji Changa (Founder of the FTP Movement). The press conference was held at The Davis Bozeman Law Firm office located in Decatur, Ga.

The press conference was well attended by local and national media. During the Q&A segment a lone white reporter from 11 News questioned whether the name of the organization promotes police violence and if an organization such at the NCCPT was necessary. Dhoruba, quickly recognize the tone of the question and with precision explained the historical origin of the police and why there is a need and purpose for NCCPT to exist.

There is nothing sacred in a media driven society. That is why we must control our own media outlets, if not mainstream media will attempt to alter the perception and consciousnesses of the masses.

With that said, we are broadcasting the entire press conference in its entirety.

The NCCPT is comprised of grassroots activists, organizations, attorneys and Hip Hop artists. NCCPT is seeking to abolish police occupation and terrorism in the African-American Community and Communities of Color. The NCCPT provides an alternative to some of the current reactionary, reformist, self-appointed and government endorsed leaders that many ordinary people, who experience police terrorism, have become frustrated with.

NCCPT will focus on fundamentally changing the way policing is performed by having community regulated and controlled decentralized policing.

Question/Suggestion:

Why don’t they operate from Cuba?

They’d be better able to coordinate the revolution there.

IMHO

Cynthia McKinney, the stupidest woman to ever have served in congress.

Anybody wish to refute that statement?

Back in the late 60s - early 70s I remember a billboard in my town that said if you don’t like the police, The next Time You Need a Cop, Call a Hippie.

It’s obvious that she was tasered often and for a long period of time - no wonder she decided to step into this fray...

I’m just happy to learn she’s no longer in Congress.

Another full time race baiter is easier to ignore.

“NCCPT is seeking to abolish police occupation and terrorism in the African-American Community and Communities of Color.”

If they stop breaking the effin law the cops won’t be “occupying” their communities.

On the other hand, let’s wall off their communities and let them fend for themselves.
