I suppose she panicked.
Terrible, she traded her life and her child’s life for 12 coworkers lives.

She didn’t trade anything. Those guys were going in with or without the code. She saved her baby.

Agree. She will have to live with that now. I am surprised they didn’t kill her and her daughter, too.

I would have done the same thing to save one of my grandbabies.

Would it not be a simple software upgrade in one of these digicode security systems to allow a person to type an extra digit that sounds a silent alarm to the upstairs and to police? Door opens just fine, and then all the silent notifications are made.
Suggest we start implementing that here.

I would give my own life, but not my child’s life.

I do not believe this woman, because the terrorists should have killed her and the child...there is no reason not to, as she was a cartoonist as well. Where in all the ISIS slaying have they cared if it was a woman or child?
And if it is as well planned as they say, then they would have known who she was....What is her religion?
This is suspicious about her behavior.

She did the right thing. As someone who has been on the receiving side of a gun, your survival instinct kicks in when someone tells you to do something or they will kill you. Protecting her daughter and herself was paramount.

Knowing a mother’s fierce love for her child, I am sorry for her and it’s hard to condemn her but she’ll live with it.
