I absolutely agree.
I doubt there is a mother on the face of the earth (other than those who strap bombs to their children) who would have reacted differently.
Subsequently, the reason I challenged you is because you were demanding to know at what number of victims would you (beforehand, and without knowing) offer up your own child.
Keep the focus on the STUPID lack of security, and not the poor woman who did what mothers are supposed to do - protect their children.
It’s also notable that Charlie Hebdo lampooned a LOT of people and beliefs. They were the intellectual equivalent of passing intestinal gas loudly in elevators. To them, Islam was only one sacred cow on a long, long list. They probably thought this would be no biggie. In this case they were wrong. Mere defiance isn’t enough to ward off some enemies (real or perceived).
They probably were also pretty fair leftists, politically.
