The voters aren't buying the excuse-making that is rampant this AM. Here's a sampling from his Facebook page:
As your constituent, I am still extremely disappointed in your vote for him.
As someone who worked for you in three elections. It looks like you did what is best for your career in politics not what is best for the country.
Worried about the threats against your committee seat? I am sick and tired of voting for rinos like you and Lindsey Graham.
So all we get is the same old excuses. We will fight another day. Yes sir, you sold out. I will never vote for you again.
How do "you" fight when you're leader is more feckless than Neville Chamberlain?
I'm glad I get to vote for someone else in 2 years, because we all know not to trust you to vote based on the wishes of your constituents or in line with your stated goal to fix a broken DC.
