I’m getting junk email about retiring in Belize. The queen of England is still recognized as the Queen of Belize and English is the official language.
It’s less likely to be invaded by a radical neighbor because It still falls under the shadow of the Crown.
If they recognized my right to defend myself I would seriously consider moving to Belize.
From what I understand, what’s called English is really Creole.
