Gohmert: People Backed Out of Vote Against Boehner At Last Minute
Breitbart ^ | January 6, 2015 | Ian Hanchett

Posted on 01/06/2015 10:44:55 PM PST by Rufus2007

Representative Louie Gohmert (R-TX) said that “people that were right there ready to go ended up deciding not to vote with us” in his campaign to unseat John Boehner (R-OH) as House Speaker on Tuesday’s “Sean Hannity Show.”

“We had enough votes but people that were right there ready to go ended up deciding not to vote with us,” he stated.

Although, he told Hannity that some representatives were “blown away” by the number of constituents lobbying their representatives to vote against Boehner and that some of Boehner’s allies “really scared they didn’t have the votes” and that some representatives told him they were able to get promises for action in exchange for voting for Boehner.

“people that were right there ready to go ended up deciding not to vote with us”

Just Republicans doing what's in their nature. Cowardice or counterfeit. Sometimes both.

Too bad Boner doesn’t play hardball with Zero the same way he does with the GOP caucus trying to keep his job.

I guess they didn’t want a new office in a Capitol basement mop closet.

Boehner has no problem ‘bringing the hammer down’ on members of his own party. I’ll bet Obama has been calling him with false praises, verbal back slaps, and this fool Boehner, laps it up like a Cat drinking milk.

Boehner would be first in line to massage obama’s taint, if he requested it.

I really thought Tim Walberg MI would have not been in the supporting role for Boehner.

I hope Breitbart finds out who the Rats were that abandoned the conservative base.

Levin said today that the Dems never disappointed their base and the GOP always does. Levin is right that is why we need a Liberty Coalition party. But first we need the Repubs in the states to take power away from DC.

Not a dimes worth of Difference between Gope and Dems, Boner is the corrupt symbol of this. No matter how many we send him he still is afraid of Obama and paid for by the Chamber of Whores.

I think it likely that the Tree of Liberty will be watered in my lifetime.

That, or the world will end in a whimper.

Too bad, getting rid of Boehner was an important step towards undoing some of Obama’s damage. Weak kneed Republicans are no surprise though. The Republican left has become nothing more than a rubber stamp for Democrats. It’s like watching a freaking student government scheming for free pizza days.

I take this as boehner promised them pork with our money to keep their votes.
