Yes. And he either owes Pelosi or Cuomo (or his family for scheduling the funeral today, though they may not have had a choice wrt when the Church, priest, people, etc. were available.
He owes Pelosi, I imagine. If Pelosi wanted them there, she could have had them there. She released them to attend, and I would assume she got Boehner to give her something for it. She may be stupid, but the people who call the shots for her are not, and they would understand that if Boehner didn’t get the speakership, it would go to someone they wouldn’t like as much, or be able to roll so easily. So they used the excuse of the funeral to help him out. Question is, what did they get?
