THE REAL STORY
Mrs DeBlobbio loudly declared her lesbianism in a magazine article---she was in a black feminist lesbian group and wrote poetry about being a lesbian. Politicker noted her husband's campaign website doesn't reference her background as an avowed lesbian and a lesbian activist or lesbian poet: It notes her affiliation with the Combahee River Collective, omitting mention of the group’s lesbian roots, referencing it as "a pioneering black feminist collective."
They met while both worked for Dinkins. She says she had a nose ring and wore African garb when he spotted her and was completely smitten. She never told him she was a lesbian. And later said after their marriage she was still attracted to women.
During the campaign, she was asked about her lesbian lifestyle----she retorted she "didn't understand the question."
The Blobbio's honeymooned in Communist Cuba. Musta been a shock on their wedding night when Blobbio came out of the shower in a towel. "You want to put what where," said the startled lesbian.

DeBlobbio gave his wife control of "the multi-million dollar Mayor's Fund." .... no telling who she’ll be dishing it out to....prolly to finance her ambitions.......those who helped get them elected get a piece. Hillary is also waiting w/ her hand out.

The unelected lesbian even has a staff---two aides salaried @ half a million. NYC has enormous revenue flow. DeBlobbio (as do most Mayors) controls all of that revenue.
My take on that is ... her attendance was a last-minute decision. She was not supposed to attend .....probably uninvited at cops' request.
At the last minute, either she or DeBlobbio felt that rush of cop-hate.......so she was hustled out dressed just as she was.....to further exhibit their cop hatred.
Her presence has caused derision......so much so Bratton warned DeBlobbio NOT to bring her to the recent cop union confab.
The word is that she and Blobbio make public policy decisions together....no doubt, she was behind the catastrophic events that led to the cop-mayoral rift.
