My wife was falsely accused of a DUI. I was in the car with her so I know it was false.

After $22k and a year and a half she got her full acquittal and the Judge threatened to contact the Bar on the prosecutors. The officers involved were reprimanded.

(Oh, she spent 13 hours in jail, too, even though I had already bailed her out before she arrived at the station.)

For her, $22k and her name was more important than the plea deal they kept pressuring her with.

If this bill passes and she had accepted that plea deal then she would not be able to purchase alcohol in OK?

Unbelievably stupid.

I don’t doubt that story, a friend of mine, so he tells me, had a real low level of alcohol but got caught at a checkpoint and had a suspended license for 6 months to a year. Catching drivers in that manner, I’m not too sure about. L

How do you get falsely accused of a DUI?

I’m just curious, for future reference. I’m definitely NOT a fan of the Revenueing Police State.
