As a retired truck driver, we all could talk and drive with no problem and NO ONE ever considered texting ... it's just a stupid thought to the driver of a lethal weapon
The biggest problem from cellphone drivers would appear to be holding that piece to the head and even moreso dialing, texting, viewing a map/driving directions on the internet on that little phone.
Hands free is more akin to a conversation with someone who is in the car.
I’ve witnessed numerous drivers who are on a cellphone holding the phone to their left ear with their right hand and making a one handed left turn (sometimes into on-coming traffic) with their left hand on the wheel.
