RE:”Breaking: Mike Huckabee‘s final “Huckabee” will air tonight, TVNewser has learned. Huckabee will announce on his show that he is parting ways with Fox News as he explores the possibility of a presidential run. The show was taped at Fox News studios in Manhattan this evening and will air tonight at 8 pm ET. “

This is how I knew that Palin wasn't running through all of 2011 in spite all the endless Palinista claims that she was that year.
She was employed by FNC as a political commentator in 2011 on Greta mostly.

She obviously told FNC higher ups that she had no intention of running but still teased their audience that she might.

He should never have been on. His actions in releasing criminals led to police being murdered.

I still haven't forgotten it, Huck.

http://rentonwa.gov/government/default.aspx?id=26914

Flags lowered in honor of slain police officers

Mayor Denis LawFor the second time this month, I have had the flags on city facilities lowered to half-staff in honor of four more police officers who were slain in the line of duty. Hopefully this is the last time.

This entire state is mourning over the senseless execution of five police officers in two separate ambushes in recent weeks. There was relief and even a moment of jubilation when the news broke Tuesday morning that Maurice Clemmons had been killed by a Seattle Police officer, but the shock of these execution-style killings continues.

Police agencies throughout the region have done a masterful job of working together to apprehend Clemmons before more people were killed. And we’re especially happy that no other officers were victimized by this killer who was armed with a gun taken from one of his victims in Lakewood.

The excitement over the capture of Clemmons will soon revert back to the sorrow surrounding the deaths of these officers in Pierce County. Nine children have lost a father or mother. Families and friends are just beginning to realize that their loved one will never return home.

Our hearts and prayers go out to all of the Lakewood police officers and other city employees who have lost four of their friends and colleagues. If this had happened in Renton, I can’t begin to imagine how we would cope with losing four of our officers to a cold-blooded killer who had no business being out of jail in the first place.

The public and police officers throughout the nation have reason to be outraged against a criminal justice system that is indirectly responsible for the deaths of these officers. Clemmons has been preying on society since he was a teenager, amassing enough felony convictions to keep him in prison for the rest of his life. We can thank former Governor Mike Huckabee for taking it upon himself to decide that Clemmons, serving a 95-year sentence for a multitude of violent crimes in Arkansas, was rehabilitated and deserved another chance. And questions need to be answered as to why this career criminal could post a low bail to gain his freedom while being held on child rape charges and facing at least seven other felony charges in Pierce County, including assaulting police officers this past May.

The impact of these recent tragedies will linger for some time. And it’s important for us to understand the fear that now exists with the wives, husbands and children of our police officers as they leave for work each day, knowing the dangers they face while trying to protect others. One of our residents wrote me that we need to let all of our officers know that we appreciate their efforts to protect us. I agree, and there has never been a better time.

Our world would be less dependable and our lives less tranquil if these brave men and women weren’t there when we called. They are willing to put their lives on the line and wear the uniforms that make them targets just to protect us. Saying thank you hardly seems adequate, but it is worth saying and worth remembering.

Hucklebee should contact FOX and beg for his job back. No way he wins the nomination.

Forget it Governor. Don’t give up your cushy FOX gig to run for an office you’ll never get. Does this guy even have a remote chance at all or is he angling to get a VP slot or a cabinet position in the Cruz administration?

I just heard on the radio today that Schmuckabee went to worship on Colbert’s last show on Comedy Central. He’s a needy, self-serving narcissist liar. We don’t need him in the White House. He’s so greedy he’s more dangerous than Jeb.

Well, it’s his affair, but I think he’ll find his ship has sailed, politically speaking. He *might* end up at a VP spot if he has a strong enough showing, but I really think he’s going to end up an also-ran early on. 2016 isn’t going to be like 2008 or 2012. There’s likely to be a lot of solid choices in terms of GOP candidates, and I don’t think Huckabee can prevail in that mix.

We’ll see, though. I’ve certainly been wrong before when it comes to political predictions.

“Huckabee” is often the most-watched show on Fox News on the weekends.
*****************************
That’s total BS! Judge Jeanine is the preferred program on FNC on Saturday night.

Huck has made yet another stupid political decision, as he did often as Gov. in Arkansas.

He’s almost as bad as Santorem, as both haven’t learned that the Conservative voters don’t care for their vapid rhetoric.

Mike Huckabee’s Final Fox News Show Airs Tonight

Huckabee's a nice guy, I don't doubt that; never have.
But there are tens of thousands of "nice guys" that I would never consider as Presidential material for my country.

Some call it discrimination, I call it judgment, based on a long life and the resulting experience: I admire people with a harmless hobby that they can enjoy, but I would never consider a wannabe rock star musician as the president of my country.

An effective president should have the widest education, the maximum experience possible as an executive, and an insatiable thirst for knowledge related to his political ambitions. It is no coincidence that the most effective, admired and loved presidents were readers of history and the biographical histories of giant statesmen of the past.

Somehow, that really can never leave much room for performing rock music in public or on national television; or obsessing with vacations and playing golf exclusively (on the taxpayers' checkbooks) rather than performing the duties and obligations of the office to which he was elected.

It sounds like we might be heading for a repeat of the circus we witnessed during the republican primaries leading to the 2011 general election.

Essentially we watched a small herd of republican candidates discredit each other over and over again while the democrats sat by munching popcorn.

There were so many candidates stomping all over each other and ripping each other (with the help and encouragement of the Obama media) that at the end, there wasn’t one survivor strong and unblemished enough to run an effective campaign for the election.
