When I first heard about this I thought that’s crazy, but then I read the proposed legislation. It would add a count to crimes commited while wearing a hoodie, which gives DA’s more leverage. It would also give business owners like me the ability to call the police when in danger from someone concealing their identity before they commit the crime. Don’t think it will pass and not even sure I like the idea, but it’s not as stupid as people, who haven’t even read the proposal, are making it sound.

You know... I still think it's a stupid law. Okay... you rob a bank and the DA gets to add another count because you had a hoodie on? Really... Or you steal a car and it's worse because you have a hoodie on? Whatever... This bill will not pass.

You can call the police right now if you feel threatened by someone. Hoodie or no hoodie. They're gonna show up in about 10 minutes. We've got some pretty solid carry and conceal laws. That's a way better option.
