Governor Palin is lending her support to Mark Levins call for Representative Steve Scalise to step down from his Republican leadership position:
Defense of this (last decade) racist action is disgusting and wrong, as is defense of the even more recent immoral actions of our Presidents with any association he embraced with the racist Jeremiah Wright and the anti-American domestic terrorist Bill Ayers. Ill add to Levins list: Do political leaders think Americans are so stupid we dont recognize the despicable double standard here, and that were so weakly complacent that well put up with this?- Sarah Palin
Mark Levin wrote a new note: Mr. Scalise...
- 1. Why did you attend any meeting at the behest of your neighbor - a known, long-time David Duke operator and confidant, Kenny Knight?
- 2. You know David Duke is a vile racist and anti-Semite, right?
- 3. If so, why did you have any association at all with Knight, a lowlife, let alone and apparently a mildly friendly one?
- 4. It has been reported that this sicko donated $1000 to your campaign. Amazingly, even now you apparently haven't returned it. Why?
- 5. I have to ask, Mr. Scalise, are you an idiot?
No one is saying Scalise is a racist. But the idiot defense is not good enough for the #3 Republican House leader. There's just too much at stake and it's not too much to expect much better from the Republican Party.
The truth is if Scalise was a Tea Party member of Congress serving in leadership, Boehner and his media cheerleaders like Rove, et al, would have forced his resignation by now, not mounted a vigorous "defense."
More to the point, Scalise is a Boehner lieutenant. He's an unprincipled operator who, among other things, did grave damage to the formerly conservative Republican Study Committee and supported Boehner's efforts to purge conservatives from key committee assignments. He's yet another example of what's wrong with the GOP and Washington. The American people are sick of it, and those who defend such awful establishment leadership are not doing either the GOP or the nation any favors. Scalise is another setback.
This will kill any inroads congressionally against anything Obama has done. Every time change comes up, well be discussing the racism/anti-Semitism/Nazism of Knight/Duke/Scalise/Boehner. Levin knows it, Erickson knows it, Sarah Palin knows it.
Some hard-headed conservatives are refusing to admit the obvious. Boehner and his lieutenant, Scalise, must be replaced.
It is now evident that GOP Whip Scalise is the friend of neo-Nazi Kenny Knight, and that Knight tried to provide a bit of cover for Scalise by scheduling him a couple of hours before the neo-Nazi event in a different room at the same location. They have admitted, however, that the neo-nazis attended Scalises event, too, and that at a minimum, Knight, contributed $1000 to Scalise. Knight was KNOWN AT THAT TIME to be an organizer for David Duke, former grand wizard of the KKK turned neo-Nazi.
Obama should be replaced for meeting with Al Sharpton at the WH over 80 times.
Good on Sarah and Mark!
Dump Boner and Scalise!
Why are John Boehner and Steve Scalise copying Barack Obama?
ping to #2
“Do political leaders think Americans are so stupid we dont recognize the despicable double standard here, and that were so weakly complacent that well put up with this?”
Yes.

I have not been following this story, so I can't tell you who said what, when, where or why.
As I Jew though, I hate Illinois Nazis.
Sarah has Jewish Blood too, so David Duke can go jump in the Gulf of Mexico.
“This will kill any inroads congressionally against anything Obama has done. Every time change comes up, well be discussing the racism/anti-Semitism/Nazism of Knight/Duke/Scalise/Boehner. Levin knows it, Erickson knows it, Sarah Palin knows it.”
It’s not a bug, it’s a feature.
[ Good on Sarah and Mark!
Dump Boner and Scalise! ]
Use Scalise as a good excuse to Dump Bohner = EVEN BETTER!
The GOPe seem to care soo much about the media and the media has now attacked Scalise..
Bohner loves the media so much, those who live by the media, metaphorically die by the media.
“some hard-headed conservatives will be...”
That’s a new one.
Name some.
Great line, RKBA.
Neo-Nazis are racist, anti-Semitic, socialist, and crony capitalist.
It really makes a person wonder.
read through the various Scalise threads, even here on FR, and you’ll see a trainload of special pleaders for Scalise and, therefore, Boehner.
Levin is as usual correct.
They all need to get a clue and some character and follow the lead of the voters
We are ready for change, as evidenced by the election and the lukewarm reception of the much touted Jeb,
They are afraid of change.
If they cannot see that Boehner has to go they will not be happy with the results.
JUst NO
IT is past time for the current GOP-e Leadership to be thrown out of their leadership roles - THEY ARE NOT CONSERVATIVES.
That is not a name.
You can’t name one.
And when people make assertions and send questioners to do the research it is invariably because of a fabrication.
Just a name.
Name a thread and post number.
Read through threads?
What does that have to do with what you call heard headed conservatives?
Name a pundit or an official who is a bona fide conservative who is also hard headed.
Boehner went around for a month after the election muttering poison-the-well this, poison-the-well that, let’s turn it around on him.
Scalise has KKK ties and is Boehner’s lieutenant. Where is the Congressional Black Caucus on this?
God bless our brave Sarah!
Since it turned out Scalise DID NOT speak at the event,
Why is a 76 Heritage Action rating Representative being subject to such inane attacks?
Sure, if Boehner keeps the Speakership he’ll do much worse in future.
But that’s a problem with the Speaker not the Whip.
The kindest view I can have of these attackers is that they figure removing the most conservative member of Boehner’s team will result in the fall of the whole team.
