Nationally syndicated radio host Mark Levin posed some very pointed questions for U.S. House of Representatives Majority Whip Stephen Joseph Scalise regarding Representative Scalises speech before a white supremacist group founded by former Louisiana grand wizard of the Klu Klux Klan and neo-Nazi David Duke.
According to a December 28, 2014 liberal blog, then Louisiana state senator Scalise, was an honored guest and speaker at an international conference of white supremacist leaders, a conference whose organization was named, innocuously enough, EURO, an acronym for European-American Unity and Rights Organization.
However, a January 1, 2015 FOX News Report adds another wrinkle to the story. Kenny Knight, the event organizer, said that Scalise did not speak to the white supremacist group. Kenny Knight, a longtime political adviser to Duke, told The Times-Picayune of New Orleans that Scalise spoke at a meeting of the Jefferson Heights Civic Association, not affiliated with the European-American Unity and Rights conference that was held in the same Metairie hotel two-and-a-half hours before the white nationalist event started.
Representative Scalise, allegedly unaware of the connections between the civic group and Euro, however, confirmed that he had spoken at the event, a decision he said he now regrets, and has since apologized.
As many others should, Mark Levin wants to know more. In a note on his Facebook page Levin probed a bit deeper asking the following questions of Mr. Scalise:
1. Why did you attend any meeting at the behest of your neighbor - a known, long-time David Duke operator and confidant, Kenny Knight?
2. You know David Duke is a vile racist and anti-Semite, right?
3. If so, why did you have any association at all with Knight, a lowlife, let alone and apparently a mildly friendly one?
4. It has been reported that this sicko donated $1000 to your campaign. Amazingly, even now you apparently haven't returned it. Why?
5. I have to ask, Mr. Scalise, are you an idiot?
Levin did not stop at questions alone, however. He then clarified his poignant questioning by stating:
No one is saying Scalise is a racist. But the idiot defense is not good enough for the #3 Republican House leader. There's just too much at stake and it's not too much to expect much better from the Republican Party.
The truth is if Scalise was a Tea Party member of Congress serving in leadership, Boehner and his media cheerleaders like Rove, et al, would have forced his resignation by now, not mounted a vigorous defense.
More to the point, Scalise is a Boehner lieutenant. He's an unprincipled operator who, among other things, did grave damage to the formerly conservative Republican Study Committee and supported Boehner's efforts to purge conservatives from key committee assignments. He's yet another example of what's wrong with the GOP and Washington.
The American people are sick of it, says Levin, and those who defend such awful establishment leadership are not doing either the GOP or the nation any favors. Scalise is another setback.
Question 1a: "Speaker Boehner, when you vetted Rep Scalise for a top position, why did this association with David Duke operative Kenny Knight not make you hold up Scalise's elevation?"
Yep.
Oust them all.
Its so ironic this after Republicans in MS defeated a Republican Chris McDaniel with accusations of racism in ads run by Boehner friend Haley Barbour

Levin is spot on.
Scalise needs to provide answers to these questions.
The only reason Scalise isn’t gone is because K-Steet has too much money invested in him.
As Levin stated, if Scalise was a Tea Partier, he’d be gone by now.
Boehner and the rest of the GOPe are bigger threats to conservatism and the Constitution than liberal/left/Democratic Party ever have been.
It is far past time to declare War on the GOP and send it to the trash heap of history where it belongs.
You are aware that the meeting Scalise addressed had NOTHING to do with the EURO group, right?
Rednecks aren’t making much of an impression upon perfumed princes. Yet.
Rev Al sees racism here too!
What about Mark Levin defending McConnell in 2009 and defending Rubio’s amnesty push?
Rubio didn’t know it was amnesty?
Steve King has opposed Boehner/Rove agenda longer than Mark Levin or Hannity.
Hannity and Levin let Rubio push amnesty.
King is defending Scalise.

Scalise spoke to a group of Democrats??? shame!
You are aware that you are buying a line, right?
Rubio denounced it when they turned in the direction of amnesty. He still denounces it. He went to the table with the clear agenda of border security first. Was he a naïve freshman senator to trust those people. You bet. Did he figure it out? Yes.
Scalise didn’t know his good friend and neighbor, Kenny Knight, was a neo-Nazi and organizer for former grand wizard, David Duke? I don’t buy it, and neither should any thinking person.
Why are freepers suddenly defending John Boehner?
