Happy New Year, everyone!!
Time to roll in the new year and the new congress! First order of business should be to elect a new speaker. Boehner must go! Next, draw the purse strings up taut! Not a dime for ObamaCare or any of Obama's unconstitutional executive actions. NO AMNESTY!!
Remember how Reid and Pelosi ran the congress? Tighten ship! Not even a scrap for Obama's dogs!!
And it's now mare important than ever that we keep our internet communications channel well funded and in fighting trim!!

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NEW YORK HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND FREEZING RAIN...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 10 PM EST SATURDAY.
* HAZARD TYPES...SNOW AND FREEZING RAIN.
* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW AND SLEET ACCUMULATION OF 1 TO 3 INCHES...ALONG WITH UP TO A TENTH OF AN INCH OF ICE.
UGH.
I think my weather calls for 3-6 inches of rain within the next 2 days and my roof is still leaking with the front porch roof about to collapse. I hope the work on all can commence on Monday. I have paid for the supplies, but not the labor. I think the roofer will wait to be paid when the house sells.
It rained for several days and was ugly and gray not too long ago. Now we get ice. I hate winter. I’m tired of being cold and I hate the damp. My back hates it as much as I do. Sciatica is caused by being sedentary.
Was it 75?
I never opened the door!
I automatically turned on the heat and I’m still sitting in front of the small heater musicman sent to me!
I can’t even laugh or joke about it.
I also HATE winter. I’m trying to decide where I want to reside. San Diego isn’t all that warm, but I guess it’ll have to do. I just want out of here, like tomorrow.
I can’t either... I’m worried sick and scared. I’m truly overwhelmed and depressed.
You’re lucky! Maybe I should have ventured outside, but I’m all locked-in.
It wouldn’t be so bad without the sciatica. You can’t sleep more than 2 or 3 hours at a time and trying to stand up is a real “treat”. I tried sitting in the car. I’m NOT doing that again.
Maybe tomorrow it will be 75 again and you can enjoy the warmth.
I started to exercise everyday after realizing that I ached trying to keep up with my 6 1/2 yo granddaughter. LOL!
