Even Mossad visited Skorzeny when he was living in Spain. Since he was not considered a war criminal, they felt it was perfectly fine to interview him.

Simon Weisenthal would disagree, since he refused to take him off the "hunt" list. Mossad forged the papers to get Skorzeny to work for them.
