A Congressional report released Tuesday found that millennials are not feeling the impacts of the economic recovery.

The Joint Economic Committee's report added to what's become a long list of economic data showing that millennials are delaying major life decisions such as buying a home and getting married.

In 2003, nearly 40 percent of Americans between the ages of 25 and 34 headed a household. In 2013, the rate declined to 37.2 percent.

Meanwhile, the percentage of millennials living with their parents has increased from 11 percent before the recession to 14 percent,

If you like living in Mom's basement into your 50's [ failure to launch ] , keep voting for the socialist democrats who promote more government job and freedom killing regulations.

Just saying.

America is heading for (yet another) record trade deficit with communist China for 2014.

One again. All of those millions of manufacturing jobs, left the country. Both parties are responsible.

Bring back American jobs.

All of the “fail to launch” Millennials that I know refuse to “start” their career (the one they studied for in college) because they are too well-educated for the entry-level job. They are the generation that considers itself to be “large and in charge” and do not feel that anyone older has a right to tell them what to do. Any parent who lets their college-educated 30 year old live at home deserves what they get. Throw the bums out!

BTW, the Millennials who went to trade school or the military are doing just fine.

Over in the UK the government politicians of the Conservatives pretend there is a great “recovery” going on while the migrants from Eastern Europe have cheapened the labor market and the lack of tax revenue to sustain big government (no cuts for healthcare) there forces local government, police, fire and military cutbacks....

In this country the government politicians tell us about a great recovery and lower unemployment but the 30 hour jobs to comply with Obamacare can hardly be called full-time jobs like we had in the past. Amnesty is also being implemented to bring in cheap labor here, too.

THE POLITICAL ELITES DO WHAT THE BUSINESS ELITES WANT AND CALL IT AN ‘ECONOMIC RECOVERY’. WHAT A BIG LIE.

A Congressional report released Tuesday found that millennials are not feeling the impacts of the economic recovery.

Which begs the question: Then exactly who is reaping the benefits of this incredible economic recovery?

How can you “miss out on” something that does not exist?

I know of 2 adult members of my wife’s family living with their parents. 45 year old female, made poor choices all her life, married and divorced 4 times, lived with various men all her adult life, now aging and not as able to hook men into supporting her lazy a$$. Once asked to come and live with wife and me for awhile, while trying to “get her life back together”. Need I tell you how we answered her”

One 46 year old living with his mother off and on, mostly on, all his life, flits from job to job with long breaks between jobs, drugs big part of his life, supposedly clean presently.

I find it extremely difficult to work up any compassion for either of them.

What’s the force that will bring back those jobs, in the face of the highest corporate tax rates on the planet and the most crushing regulations?

If there were even a minor uptick in the economy, much less a "recovery", Millennials would be moving out of their parents houses. Naturally, in an era when people are so easily led by illusions and media hype that they elected Caliph Obama in the first place, "recovery" doesn't actually mean what we're all supposed to believe it means.

Alas, people even read or quote the Holy Bible but deny what it clearly states so expecting them to not simply swallow whatever some talking head says when suits their fantasies is too much to hope for.

This is why they can Facebook friend all day and still have time to u-stream live all night from the streets of Ferguson MO, inciting riots or worse,

To be fair, despite what this administration tells us, the jobs economy is not that good for them. For me I would have no problem with grown kids living at home, the problem would be if they didn’t engage in life,

“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; “ 1 Timothy 4:1-2

Current internet technology becomes a playground for the more overt and narcissistic types, to learn, agitate, to deceive and be deceived,

Wherever this mythical socalled recovery may be, it sure ain’t anywhere near USA (Texas etc possibly excepted). Hang on tight, we have at least two more years of obsma’s attacks on jobs, business, and any chance of returning to prosperity

The new term for a basement bedroom suite in new houses is boomerang room. Friends were looking at homes in Columbus suberbs and the realtors kept talking it up.

I’m not willing to entirely take a position on that.

I have personal ideas, but they will tend to take over any discussions.

However one idea just for discussion, we can enact government tariffs on imports (a doable and good idea in my view, though the government must be completely out of deciding who pays - if it’s imported, it is included), because it helps local businesses compete with foreign importers, and also brings in money to decrease the federal deficit which is approaching 18 trillion dollars.

Tariffs are a good idea, in my view.

However that is just one idea.

We need to support American businesses however.

I don’t mean American companies which manufacture stuff in China.

I mean companies of whatever ownership, which actually make stuff right here in America.

Americans need jobs.

That is an excellent question. And one of the many that will never get asked nor researched by the msm.

Government employees get raises while the average private worker is stuck with losing or paying lots more for health insurance whilst also being told to accept frozen or even wage givebacks due to Chinese competition.

WHAT RECOVERY??
