I used to get frustrated trying to listen as half the time all the internet would do is buffer—until the commercials, when it would magically run great! When Quinn made the day’s show downloadable, it was sweet, as the webmaster [Dave] cut out the commercials to save space. Still took 45 min to download a 16mb file with a 33.6 dialup, now it takes just a few seconds. Dave told me he about fell out of his chair when he saw someone click in and download 3 shows in about three seconds via a T1 line, big stuff—back then! Har!
I was fortunate to never have to go through all that. You were a dedicated hard core fan!
I live about 30 miles SW of Pittsburgh so had no problem picking up a strong live broadcast signal from the Flagship station WPGB FM 104.7
It was morning drivetime at it’s finest! B^)
