It was her family, her daughter that disputed the marriage, it seems they were just together for ten years then married recently.... still unbelievable. No wonder he died, because people die when losing a spouse of ten years. Their age may indicate a relationship that wasn’t consummated, either way ten years is a long time, and it was none of the daughters business.
