Read Levin’s comments or Jeffrey Lord’s piece .... Scalise is NOT conservative and has done a lot to destroy conservatism. The “link” to the conservative base is a figment of somebody’s imagination. He’s screwed up the RSC to the point Lord says they should start over. It’s a mess .... if the Repubs can’t clean up their own house & get it in order, they’ll be worse than the “useless” I expect in 2015. Boehner & his ilk need to go, pronto & period.
To sum up: The scandal involving Scalise is completely fake but might be a danger to someone else (Boehner), but the kinds of fools who talk to CNN think that would be a bad thing because, come on, how can we stay in power if we don’t back the same guy who has consistently refused to use the power except to punish people on his own side?
