Remember when Jimmy Carter "dumped" Samoza the president of Nicaragua, only to have him replaced by Daniel Noriega who brought real communism to Latin America, MIGs and all.
Be very careful who replaces Boehner if you intend to see him toppled. Replacement could be worse, as you well know.
