Alas, Mister Boehner has neither the respect of his adversaries nor his (alleged) constituents. (It's not just the "Tea Partiers that would like to see Mister Boehner take up a new occupation and residence. Regular GOPers have little use for him, as well).

Ideally, he would resign (in full disgrace) rather than losing a vote.

What, would you say, are the chances of that? Only 29 Rs need to vote for somebody, anybody else for a second vote to be required.

I’m starting to smell some hope here and if you have any data that would support that, very very appreciated.
