The draft resolution by the Palestinians calling for an Israeli withdrawal from the West Bank and East Jerusalem within three years and revised to include language declaring East Jerusalem as the future capital of a Palestinian state was presented to the UN Security Council late Monday.
The draft resolution affirms the urgent need to achieve a just, lasting and comprehensive peaceful solution to the decades-old Palestinian-Israeli conflict within 12 months and sets a December 31, 2017 deadline for Israels occupation to end.
Many of the changes to the draft are semantic, such as the addition of the word just, to a call for a solution for outstanding issues including Palestinian refugees, prisoners in Israeli jails and water.
The earlier draft used the term agreed solution.
The new text also calls for an independent state of Palestine to be established within the June 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, and security arrangements including through a third-party presence.
The earlier draft mentioned Jerusalem only as a shared capital.
The eight amendments also include new provisions recalling that Israels West Bank barrier was declared illegal and demanding an end to Israeli settlement construction in the Palestinian territories and East Jerusalem.
Following is the text of the draft as published online by a website called UN Report but not officially affiliated with the UN. The Times of Israel could not independently verify whether the text conforms to the draft resolution as presented.

No need to keep on reading. All BS, as usual!
And what did it call on Palestinians to do?
Remember back at the DNC - Charlotte convention? Obama pushed for the DNC to include in their platform having Jerusalem to no longer be recognized as the capitol of Israel.
At the time I wondered why he would do that. Well, it was a run up to this UN resolution.
If half the people who think they deserve a place in Israel would visit there for a couple of weeks and see both cultures, they’d believe like you. Even among their own, they are like wild animals to each other, thinking they are all privileged kings. We actually were run over by Palestinian kids who took the whole street, not half as we walked through a market. When we were hiking down from Ein Gedi a group of Palestinian youths, probably 10 or so, passed us. One boy had his t-shirt off and smacked our male friend for absolutely no reason! He said nothing so I turned around and scolded him telling him that was rude and wrong. The kid laughed and the men with them did nothing. We out numbered them so I didn’t get into trouble, haa! So, their young are raised to disrespect Christians. In Jewish communities, the young children are happy and wave, in Palestinian areas the young gathered and shook their fists at our bus!
Giving them anything in Israel is inviting God to turn his back on your country!! God gave this land to Abraham!
And if the UN ever voted for this rubbish, so what? We know the UnitedNazis would just love to do it. Let’s say they did. The resolution might make good toilet paper.
Too toxic to be used as toilet paper!
If one gave the Palistines all of Israel and deported every Jew and Christian it would take less than a year for the them to pillage and destroy everything the Jews and Christians have built up over the last 60+ years and they would be back at the UN with their begging cups in hand....
The Palistines are a reason that Palistines cannot have nice things like infrastructure, just look what they did with all those green houses that the Jews left them? They cannibalized the whole thing to either build tunnels and make war with Israel or just dither it away.
Good point. Well, we can always just p!ss on it, then. (The UnitedNazis have less than zero credibility - and they’re very anti- American, anti-Christian and anti- Jewish. , a perfect retirement home for The One...).
Damn! I’m tired of this BS.
Israel has been a soveriegn State/Country since 1948. The Palestineans are nomadic squatters without a country that have been given some of Israel’s land to live on and yet they continue to war with Israel and petition the UN and other countries to give them the capital of Israel and declare them a sovereign country.
Israel should give them all the finger, and that includes Kerry and Obama who both keep pushing on behalf of the squatters and dissing Israel!
