What’s funny is in discussions with homosexual marriage advocates they argued against polymarriage by saying marriage was a union of 2 people...had a good time telling them they were hypocrits denying a union to people who loved each other!

You are in denial. This country is a far different place than the one you seem to think it is.
Of course it was. Optimistically, I'd say we're about twenty years out from full-on acceptance of these kinds of "marriages" --maybe quicker if certain religions start demanding them. With stories like this one, they're testing the waters. More will be coming.
I'm only surprised it isn't the two gay dudes in this story who got married, leaving their "wife" free to collect welfare benefits as a single mom.
The ONLY third person one should have in their marriage is JESUS CHRIST!
