While Rush Take A Deserved Christmas-New Years Vacation Break, Enjoy The Radio Talents Of His Sub Hosts This Week.
Today's Sub Host Is Mark Belling.
Giant PING List.
Belling? Oh well, I can schedule my workout in the 12-3 slot then.
Do what you have to do. I have to go and get cold treatmeant stuff.
Belling??? Does Rush know how hard it is to hire guest listeners for the times he has guest hosts? There is only one “Mark” of Excellence, and Belling ain’t it!!!
Hello everyone. Ugh...Belling. Oh well gotta snow blow this morning. Have nice one, will check in later and lurk.
....And who is that Mark of excellence I may ask?
I will do the same - schedule something during this time. Belling is boring. Now if Mark Steyn was in, I would tune in...
Think “Ice Station EIB”
...the point is, Belling sucks. Worst of the bunch. Davis close second.
Steyn is awesome, but I couldn’t take him every day. Walter Williams is good, but he does the same show - with the same interview with Thomas Sowell - every time he hosts. It’s a GREAT show, but it’s the same.
Could be a day to tune over to Andrew Wilkow.
It's all a matter of taste, isn't it?
Personally, I prefer Belling over all the other guest hosts (though I look forward to Steyn, too). His approach to topics is very cerebral; he forces me to think about the issues he discusses.
I almost wish I lived in Milwaukee, so I could catch him every day.
Almost...
Dear Lord, we’ve found the ONE Mark Belling fan (outside of Wisconsin).
The “skonsin” accent is the most irritating, grating and boring accent this side of Boston or the Bronx. For that reason alone.....
Agreed.
I used to be an avid Rush fan, but he’s been losing me over the past year or two; his show is becoming one long infomercal for his books, tea, and whatever it is he happen$ to be pitching, frequently interrupted by annoying ads, with long worn out, painfully trite cliché’s scattered about like leggos blocks strewn across the parlor floor.
Some listeners might enjoy his long drawn out bloviations about golf and football; I do not.
They have stations dedicated to sports; if I want to hear about sports that’s what I’ll tune in to.
As soon as rush starts on one of his sports rants I jump on the frequency dial and find something else to listen to.
Very seldom do I tune him in at noon time, and when I do it’s often not for very long.
The only time I actually enjoy the show any more is when Mark Stein is sub hosting, and then its’ a hoot.
As much as I hate to say it, I really wish that El Rushbo would go into well deserved retirement and let Stein inherit the whole show.
If that ever happens, I’ll be back.
Most of the talk shows have best of’s or subs hosting. Must be hard work talking for a couple of hours. :-)
Belling is a turn off, but eric the red, was the host on Friday and he was re-hosted by Christmas music.
If it ain't Rush, or that undocumented alien, or Doctor Walter E. Williams, black by popular demand, it's Bing Crosby singing that racist song, "White Christmas".
It could be a Jewish Christmas with any number of American-Israeli singers, {or is it Jew-American, I get so confused} singing songs about the birth of Jesus, red nosed deer, fat guys in red suits, fire, snow, jingle bells, good food....
"Ceterum censeo 0bama esse delendam."
