I have to wonder if bringing back some very public executions for those convicted of such crimes wouldn’t help. Speedy trials & speedy sentencing,fewer appeals.
In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia public punishments are meted out every Friday morning at the town center/public square. We COULD have see an execution one Friday morning , a head chopping, but we passed on that.
The guy had murdered. There was no question about it. Justice was swift. He wouldn't do it again.
