“I just tracked it on Flightradar24 and saw where it simply dropped off the radar in the NW Java Sea, SE of Pulau Belitung Island. it didn’t have an unsual track and there were a few other aircraft in the same area at the time.”

Reportedly there was “bad” weather conditions in the area where it was last known.
Most likely a crashed plane unfortunately.
I didn’t see any other planes ahead or behind it being diverted. It was flying straight and true and then the track on it froze and disappeared while the aircraft around it continued flying.
Maybe someone with more experience with flightradar24 can pull out some data.
