If I am not mistaken an Adam Air B-737 went missing in Indonesia around this time seven years ago. Just completely disappeared as I recall. Unfortunately aviation safety standards in Indonesia are simply not of the highest standard.
Note to self: Never book travel in South East Asia or Micronesia with a 3rd World country operated national airline or local carrier...
