“How much does the electricity cost for 40 miles?”

50% to 60% less than gasoline. It is even less if you have a time-of-use (nighttime discount) electricity plan available in your area, which it seems that most people do.

I need hard numbers.

What's the cost of a kwh in your neighborhood?

What is the total cost for 40 miles of electricity charged from your home?

Thanks.

What happens to that cost savings when your State adopts a mileage tax for the vehicles not paying their fair share of using the highways?
