Joe Cocker has died aged 70 after a battle with lung cancer.
His management confirmed his passing to Britain's IITV News.
Born John Robert Cocker in Sheffield, he achieved international success as a blues/rock singer beginning in the 1960s and recorded 40 albums.

Thanks for posting that picture. I had a memory of Belushi and Joe Cocker on stage together but wasn't sure if my memory was correct.
I remember that episode now, didn't Belushi start and then Joe Cocker came out on stage and joined him? At least that's how I remember it, not sure my memory's correct. That was a lifetime ago...

I pull up the YouTube of his Woodstock performance of “A Little Help From My Friends” once in a while — that scream is one of my favorite moments in one of my favorite live performances by anybody.
