Jeb Bush as president will get all the things done that Obama will have left undone. He will have less opposition and will be even more successful. Republicans are no longer any alternative to Democrats except as to the faces that will be shredding the Constitution and getting rich from the corruption perks of office.
You probably mean "the Democrat," which most people think will be Hillary in 2016's presidential race. In any case, there will be several "whoevers" running "against" the Democrat.

The Republican nominee, if it is Bush or another GOPe choice, will be a functional Democrat when it comes to the liberal use of government, so regardless of your intentions to vote "against" the Democrat, you will STILL -- and ONLY -- be voting to support THE IMPLEMENTATION of the same Democrat agenda of bigger, more powerful government.

There is another choice -- and that is to use your vote to weaken leftists in both parties. USE your vote, make your voice heard, to say that you reject BOTH big-government politicians and are willing to give that vote to a true limited government conservative even if you know full well that candidate will lose.
At the very least you will WEAKEN THE MANDATE of whichever leftist wins the presidency -- THAT is what your third party vote will do, and that is a good thing because it will AID conservatism. The plurality split that Perot caused HURT Clinton and STRENGTHENED conservatives, who because of the political weakness of having a clear majority of Americans OPPOSED to Clinton both times he was elected, were able to steamroll him with the Republican Revolution and then impeached him!!!
Your vote for a leftist Republican, on the other hand, will make leftists MORE POWERFUL IN BOTH PARTIES. That is the ONLY thing it will accomplish, all your good intentions aside or even front-and-center. Please, think it through.

I did that for more than 30 years, and my mother did that for SIXTY years. I got news for you: that strategy WILL MAKE THINGS WORSE if you are willing to vote for big government left-leaning "Republicans."
That strategy -- that "new" strategy of voting "straight pubbie ticket" is actually an OLD, long-tried strategy that has proven to be a failure. You are late to the game, dear.
