Hey, NYC voters wanted him, now they’ve got him. I don’t see the problem.

Calling it a “good night for Democrats,” Mayor de Blasio on Tuesday said the election results had ushered in a new era of leadership in Albany.
De Blasio addressed the crowd at the Sheraton New York Hotel in midtown, where hundreds had gathered for the election night party celebrating Gov. Cuomo, Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and Controller Thomas DiNapoli.
“The message ... was loud and clear, that ultraconservative, intolerant Republicans, tea party Republicans are never going to win the day in New York and Democrats have shown the kind of leadership that people in this state want,” he said.
"In a democracy people get the leaders they deserve." (Toute nation a le gouvernement quelle mérite.) - Joseph de Maistre (1753-1821)
(The voters who elected de Blasio don't see a problem, either. But I can't imagine how they won't see one over the next three years.)
