Beef won’t come back down. The environazis and US government are trying to discourage its production, and it is a premium product in a world market exposed to a weak dollar.

Beef should be reserved for the elite. Folks who have to work for a living should be happy with soy protein and peanuts. Folks might get too uppity if they have access to the food served in Hollywood and Washington.

Beef won’t come back down.

You'll be happy to know that it will.

The hard winter of 2012-2013 killed hundreds of thousands of cows and calves in the Dakota's, Wyoming, Montana, and Colorado. Most in just a few days.

It's going to take some time for those herds to be built back up, but The American Farmer and Rancher is up to the task.

There will be prenty of beef to go around.

“Beef won’t come back down.”

Yes it will. Beef is high priced because a prolonged drought forced liquidation of beef cows. The beef cows produce the calves that are grown into 1,200 pound beef cattle.
The drought has mitigated; but it takes awhile to rebuild herds.
One factor that slows it even more; is a calves (including heifers) is/are worth a lot of money now. Does a rancher hold her back for a future cow and calf producer; or sell her now at a very price?
