I saw a video yesterday of a mother duck taking her babies for a swim. A big fish came up from the bottom and took one of the ducklings home for dinner. The mother tried to beat the hell out of that fish. Looked natural to me.
Go out into the mountains and find a bear cub and kick him in the butt. Any question about what Momma will do to you - naturally, of course?
They’re animals - and so are we. You might be vegetable or mineral but I’m an animal. We’ve been told for a few hundred generations that we’re better animals but when we get hurt or one of ours gets hurt, we revert to instinct. If we can overcome the instinct for revenge society may grieve with us but society didn’t suffer the hurt, it only observed it. Until society has skin in the game it has little to no say in what happens.
As I said earlier, I am an animal. You can continue as a sunflower or pansy if you wish.
