My ex wife proposed to me. Looking back it prob should have been a one night stand but lasted for 27 years! I was 26 and she was 19 and I virtually raised a teenager, that eventually became a wife at around 24, but I would not go through the stress again. I had a child from a previous marriage and she did not know the difference of love of a child versus love of a spouse. I have just now reconnected with my son. So in retrospect I would only marry a woman I proposed to. I try to not think I only accepted to not hurt her feelings but I did! We did have 4 kids of our own and she finally learned the difference. But she lost the love for the spouse in return! Sometimes it’s best to walk away.
