I wonder if there are any statistics on the number of guys who have long-time girlfriends propose to them but say no? I mean, if you’ve been getting the milk for free, why buy the cow, especially if there are other cows around?
I’d bet more than a few “empowered wymens” have proposed and broken up at the same time.
