Now a rifle is another matter. I can keep six shots in a half dollar at 100 yards.
That is why in my house I use a double barrel coach shotgun with spreader loads. You just point in the general direction and you won't miss. The pattern is five feet in diameter ten feet out.
What? What is a "spreader load?" Is it only sold in Philly? Tough on the drywall.
Yep, rifle is another matter entirely.
At 10 yards I’m pretty good with a pistol. I can’t get a super tight grouping, but I can get them all pretty close to each other within the target circle.
25 yards is a whole different story.
This one range has these plates attached ot a pole at 25 yards. They are about the size of dinner plates, and when you hit them you hear PTING, and the plate folds back against the pole.
This is where they have their championship pistol challenges and such.
If I can hit 2/10 shots on the plate, I consider myself lucky.
That is really hard to do.
That is amazing. I did not know they were capable of that.
Suddenly I have interest in double barreled coach shotguns.
