In the New Jersey case, the New Jersey Supreme Court ruled a recall attempt against Sen. Menendez unconstitutional citing Article VI and the 1967 Idaho federal case in which the citizens of that state attempted to recall Sen. Church. But the New Jersey Supreme Court didn't wait until enough petitions had been gathered to invoke the provision in the 1947 New Jersey Constitution permitting recall. It actually issued a cease-and-desist order against the petition effort.

This is now settled law. Any attempt to recall a federal officer -- a senator or congressman -- will be stopped by court order.

It doesn't matter who lies and who tricks their constituents. Politicians do that every day. It's a part of their shtick, the political process. You might as well attempt to recall every politician in the world.

The only thing that matters is the law, and this issue is settled at both the federal and state level.

Court rulings always change over time. So you are not going to convince me about what happened in a single case in 1947 or 1967.

Did the lawsuits on Obamacare stop after 1 case? Absolutely not.

I get it you are a BIG supporter of the RNC Leadership, and you are attempting to discourage any sort of challenge to the so called “leadership”. Yes I know all politicians lie, but how serious is the lie.

IMO and many other conservatives, John Boehner and Mitch McConnell are back stabbers and CERTAINLY no leaders. They are 100% certified compromised and need to be replaced immediately.

I am astounded how lightly you are taking this. THIS is the ultimate political betrayal.
