Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega has banned two American lawmakers from his country after they helped push through legislation last week to ban Venezuelan officials from the United States.
Just like they [U.S. officials] have their lists, we can make our own lists in Latin America of those who shouldnt enter our country, Ortega told Costa Ricas Tico Times.
Sen. Marco Rubio and Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen laughed off Ortegas ban, The Miami Herald reported.

Oooooo that really hurts, Danny Boy
Hey Danny! Feel free to put me on your list also!
Rubio is doing everything possible to try to “rehabilitate” his conservative bona fides.
But IMHO he is wasting his time. During his period of servitude in advancing Amnesty he, of necessity, let his mask slip and revealed his RINO/progressive essence. WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOUR BETRAYAL RUBIO!
Indeed. If he cannot stand up to democrats and look like a spanked little boy, why would he show any kind of opposition there.
Banned from Nicaragua. What a punishment. Worse than that would be an all expenses paid trip there.
Marc Rubio can be a stirring speaker. That is one of his talents. He needs to start speaking up about something that matters. Otherwise, he will be just another well meaning Republican without much of a voice. The way I think of Gov. Jindal in Louisianna. I could be very mistaken in my impression, I’ll grant you that.
OOH NO.......Banned from Nicaragua.....now where will we go on vacation....alas
It is a good thing Nicaragua gets all that Venezuelan oil money.
“Marc Rubio can be a stirring speaker. That is one of his talents....”

Actually, he is a BULL-SHltter -— to use the old expression. He’s that...and nothing more.
I look at Rubio in terms of the previous public office he held in Florida.
He was Speaker of the House. The guy that controls and cajoles the rank and file to support the legislation he wants passed, including bills that special interests who put big money in his campaign account want.
Marco Rubio was the John Boehner of Florida. In 2010 an astroturf “Tea Party” rose up to proclaim him as a good conservative.
Jindal once floated the idea of giving LA legislators a large payraise in double digit percentage figures.
When that actually passed our legislature here in PA in 2005 the outrage caused repeal but even that didn’t stop a lot of Republicans and even a few Democrats from losing primary contests and or general election ones.
Both men are business as usual politicos......
Well poo, I’ll have to ban Nicaragua from my travel list.
Rubio blocked Arizona type immigration laws from coming to a vote.
I simply tell people why I no longer support Rubio, that he lied to us from his heart. I had the opportunity to ask him face to face on the illegal immigration issue very early in his campaign. Straight eye to eye, he articulated without notes and very directly what he said during the campaign.
He lied to us from his heart and then allowed himself to be used by the two biggest slimeballs in the Senate, Schmukie and Juan.
He acts strong when in position of force but then goes PC phobic when sniveling liberals pull on him the charity card for illegals. Charity is not a mea culpa going one way. The other side has to be challenged to be charitable.
Thanks Olog-hai.
