The biggest reason is that hipsters are totally into tech and Silicon Valley figures that the younger crowd will be better able to identify a new hot trend. It’s the same in retail clothing.

Is it age discrimination? Yes. I’m a 61 year old SWM, but I have always figured out how to manage my life without the help of the government.

IQs track more closely to the mother than the father. Affirmative action programs have become largely a scam for people with African-American fathers/non-African-American mothers to get a special set aside based on their looks rather than their need.

Urban Black Culture, to be specific.

There are some great black employees and entrepreneurs. Just not as many as proportionate when compared to other demographics. Too many are in the urban black culture to become productive useful folks society is happy to include.

Nope, only an idiot would think your chart eliminates the effect of culture.

So let’s see we are told when we are younger we can be anything we want to be. We choose our own path. Now its our race that must choose what profession we go into because a certain field lacks this or that? This is where this is heading just bring in public quotas and be done with it. Its always been there now they just need to say what percentage of their work force must be male, female and skin color. Discrimination has gone totally 180 degrees backward.

The trend, now, is for college’s and universities to combine a Bachelor degree with a Master degree. Pretty soon you will need a Master’s degree to get hired anywhere. I know it’s that way in the government as I peruse through the IT ads at usajobs.com. Bachelor degrees are becoming more and more like high school graduation diplomas. Yeah you need one but in the end they are worthless. Good thing I started an alternative career and am following that, making more in a month than I could in a year with my IT degree from DeVry.

And only an idiot who doesn’t bother to read and/or understand what I said would make a dumb comment like that.

Did I not acknowledge that culture definitely has AN impact?

And the quality of culture itself is heavily influenced by the reality represented by those curves.

I worked 35 years for a premier IT company. As a simple statement of fact Blacks, Native Americans and Latinos were nearly non-existent in the important technical positions. For the most part, if your company’s existence was riding on the results a White or Asian guy was doing the technical work. Women were present, but at that moment when the SHTF it was a guy doing the work. On many occasions I saw incredible flashes of brilliance as people solved problems under incredible pressure.

“I used to work in an IT shop that had a fair number of blacks in it. Interestingly almost every single one of the actually productive ones was born and raised outside the US. It’s not race that’s the problem, it is what AMERICAN BLACK CULTURE produces. The culture is the problem.”

Yep. Most actual Africans I’ve met are wonderful people, hard workers, great senses of humor.

The ones I know from Nigeria cannot stand American blacks.
