Friends and family members of Jessica Chambers, the Mississippi woman who was set on fire and burned to death this week, packed a funeral chapel Saturday to remember her life — as questions remained about who killed her in such a horrible way.
Deborah Sanders, the 19-year-old’s aunt, said before the service at Wells Funeral in Batesville that the support of the community following the young woman’s death has helped comfort the family, but they are desperate to find whoever killed her. Hundreds attended the woman’s wake Friday.

i already read one article that said her ex-boyfriend did this, only they do not think he did it alone... so they were investigating that... and none of the other articles i read mentioned a battered women's shelter...
Small southern town. I think everybody knows who did it, including the cops. It really stinks.
Not blaming the victim, nobody deserves what happened to her, but she really should have made some better choices in terms of who she hung out with.

Sad story, and it sure sounds as if there’s a lot more to this than just a BF-GF “bad relationship”.
Jessica came from a dysfunctional family and got herself in more trouble by befriending black gangsters....
but that is no reason to murder this girl....she was unarmed and a teenager....does that ring a bell?
If what I think happened, happened... Then this story really pisses me off.
I guess with this story we’ll see if White Lives Matter?

Most of the worthwhile reporting on this case is being done by civilians, not “professional” reporters. These two links give a much better picture of what was going on at that rural crossroads gas station/convenience store/gang HQ/illegal drug mart supposedly “owned” by the 19 year old Muslim Ali Asaini, but assumed to be run and controlled by older, richer, and probably felonious drug gangsters.
This one is a twitter counter-attack against the “Black Squad” gang by “anonymous.”
(At least somebody is counter-attacking against the “Black Squad,” even if it’s with computers and not carbines.)

In other decades, brothers, cousins and uncles would have steered her around such quicksand. Then they would have gone and nuked the quicksand. No more quicksand in that zip code for a decade or more.
Thanks for posting those links. This case is a good example of how far out you can live from an urban center and still be in the wrong part of the CWII Cube.
Yep, and there seems to be a severe lack of weed cutters in that zip code.
