At least she didn’t die for nothing. It kept Ted Kennedy out of the WH.
Of course, that gave us Jimmy Carter, and left Teddy in the Senate, where he continued to do damage for another 40 years. Not sure he would have won in 72, and if he did, not sure we would have been worse off. Too many unknowns. We do know that he did tremendous damage in the Senate.
