I’m so sorry to hear this.
say, neither of my parents lived long enough to collect a dime of what they put in. Do I have a redress ability in like kind?
my son is autistic, and we have a uphill battle to get benefits, let alone finding how my wife could get paid as his teacher. He is homeschooled after being attacked by a teacher’s aide on his 1st day of Spec.Ed preschool. The school system circled the wagons after that and I wouldn’t trust this city’s schools anymore. Nevertheless, people we know who worked in the school system wouldn’t couldn’t risk their retirement to help, testify, work behind the scenes, etc.
We get a letter from the socsec evey year sometimes every 4 or 5 months saying we earned too much and owe the Administration thousands of dollars despite my wife only working part time and me being laid off alot since the “recovery”. Sometimes they count past wages as if I was still working and unemployment as the reason.
Its just outrageous.
No one should be responsible for a dead ancestor’s debt.
Apparently, no one at Social Security understands that principle.
And the agency doesn’t even have the paperwork to prove these debts existed.
The only way to bring an end to this policy is to slap a cease and desist order on Social Security.
Thank you so much for the prayers.
Thank you for your expression of concern over our son.
