Police have arrested a 22-year-old man in connection with Friday’s shooting at an Oregon high school for at-risk students.

Police have been searching for a gunman who left three young people hospitalized in what investigators say appears to be a gang-related shooting outside Rosemary Anderson High School in Portland.

At risk students? Uh, yeah if they have gang ties I'd say they're at risk. School shooting? Well it was pretty near the school. How in the heck did the perp get a gun anyway? Private sale? Just more impetus for OR to have a new law like WA just got with I594 and like the one proposed by nannie bloomers for NV. That'll certainly stop this sort of thing from happening. No? Hmmm. I guess the bad guys will still NOT follow the rules.

Usually “at-risk” implies a certain ethnicity.

And it seems to be the case here.

Thus, ipso facto, most likely common every-day violence, with incidental injuries. Could be “gang”, could just be the culture. But not likely “mass shooting”. That just happens to be the case in strict English-language words.

How can this be a “school shooting”? It was a few blocks from a school and involved gang members. Silly anti-gun LIBs. Facts must scare them.
