Facebook is thinking about adding a way to "dislike" posts on its site, founder Mark Zuckerberg has said.
Speaking at a Q&A session in California, he said it was one of the most requested features the social network receives from its users.
He said the site would need to find a way to make sure it did not become a way to demean people's posts.

Nah...once you’ve been around here for awhile, you know who you done ticked off or who has ticked you off...post it notes on the monitor are good for that.

Funny, been here for about 15 years now but recently I’ve also been looking for a like button under posts.
As for FB, I predict putting dislike button would be the beginning of the end of it. It will inject a ton of passive aggressive negativity into the site which will eventually erode relationships and rub off on people’s perception of the site. But, people have probably been predicting the end of FB for years now...
I bet they won’t. It is like the newspapers that have suddenly disabled comments for “controversial” stories; the lie that most Americans accept liberal ideas is too easily exposed when you have a means of quantifying/giving a voice to conservative views.
