This I know. Bleeding hearts always quote non-existent or twisted Scripture. Some of them mean well but they will have to answer for the misquotes. We are not given the power to judge who is going to hell nor what The Almighty will choose to do with those who mock him. However, we are given the gift of discernment when we accept the gift of God’s sacrifice.
“Love your enemies and do good to them” does not include consorting with, participating in, or supporting evil. Many of the modern day “support” programs are exactly that; supporting and enabling. That’s where so many corrupt the meaning. The Gospel is a hard line in the sand against evil, not a surrender to it. Following Jesus is a hard road, not the skip down a sunlit path that modern day deceivers are making it out to be. Jesus forgave all manner of sin but he also said “go and sin no more” afterwards.
