WASHINGTON (WJLA) After falling victim to thieves who swiped packages off of their front porch several times, a Northeast D.C. couple decided to teach them a lesson.
Tis the season for package thieves; many D.C.-area residents have recently caught robbers taking packages on surveillance. But for one couple, caught on camera wasnt enoughthey boxed up a stinky surprise from their two dogs.
About 3 p.m. Friday, surveillance footage shows a man walking up and down the sidewalk in front of their home, before stealing their package and taking off. The caught-on-camera incident marked the third package taken from their yard since October.
Obviously, it made me really mad, said the woman, whom ABC 7 is not identifying. I worked hard, saved my money, bought something and then it was just gone.
Angry, she and her boyfriend decided to place a fake package outside, and to move the camera so they could get a better angle if the robber hit again. He did on Monday, but this time, he got away with a box filled with dog feces.
I had originally wanted to put a note in the box that said, Surprise! Please stop stealing my crap, the woman said.
Others in the neighborhood laughed when they heard what the couple had done.
I think he deserves it, one woman said.
You get what you deserve, one man said. What goes around comes around.
Another man added, I bet you thats the last time he stole from them, right?
That remains to be seen, but now the robbers face is on television. The homeowners said they saw a white pickup truck passing by in both videos. They filed a police report and will be handling the delivery of their packages differently.

Maybe a copy of Hillary’s book would have the same effect.
Thief is lucky. They could have filled a bottle of whiskey with rat poison and put it in the package.
How ‘bout the box explodes when it’s opened, coating the perp with red paint and itching powder?
“A pound of C4 would be a nice gift too, but that would be ILLEGAL.”
Yes, that would be illegal, but how about you put a charge in the middle of the Shi’ite just large enough to fling the poo everywhere when opened?
DANG!
You realize since the perp is black these people actually OWE him whatever he wants because their ancestors probably owned slaves right?
Must suck to get the box at home only to find a pair of work boots or a book inside.
“Another man added, I bet you thats the last time he stole from them, right?
On the contrary I’m afraid, perp knows where they live, he may want payback. This might not be the end of this story.
Several years ago my wife and I owned a small internet business. We received an order for a for one of the more expensive items we sold. When we tried to process the credit card we found out that the card had been stolen. I decided to have some fun, so I scooped up enough well used kitty litter (we had five cats at the time) and packaged it up in a box and shipped it out overnight delivery (cost me $25)
but, it was well worth it the next day when the thief called me to complain.
I wonder what the law states regarding me sending a box of bull$h1t to Congress?
After all I’d simply be returning what they give me everyday.

I like your story better.
What did you say to his complaint?
Looks like to me that the person who gifted the dog poop ought to be charged with a hate crime.
Homeland security would show up within minutes, and would announce a bio-terror arrest. You would be ruined for the rest of your life and would be lucky not to spend many years in prison. And worst of all, they are all to stupid to understand the symbolism of the fact that you sent them Bull$hlt and would have no idea why you did it.
I'd settle for covering them with just dog feces!

“Angry, she and her boyfriend decided...”
It was somewhat a fun read til that line and it brought me back to the reality of how messed up our society is.
