I can’t defend him, nor can I prosecute him. I don’t know if what is stated really happened or not.

I can, however say that it seems to me that if I were THAT affected by these actions now, some 15 or 20 years later, that I certainly would have reported the drugging within hours of waking up. There are probably very few drugs that will have that kind of an instant affect and that won’t leave a trace. I go to the dentist and feel the affects of the anesthetic for at least a day.

And unless something is put into me via an IV I generally find it takes quite a while to work - and even then I am aware of my surroundings.

How come none of these women died? What drug is this that can do what they claim it does? Is it totally tasteless, no color, no odor?

And in many cases these women maintained ongoing relationships with the man.

If it DID happen there can be no defense. But I smell something not right in theses stories.

The drugging method seems to be the most effective for rapists, in that it causes the most confusion and insecurity in the victims, and leads to a smaller percentage of reporting to police than the more violent rapes do where the rapist uses a weapon, or a beat down.

“”Typically what we see is people who are using drugs to commit a sexual offense are doing so because obviously that increases the vulnerability of the victim and decreases the resistance,” Dr. Nancy Zarse, a professor in the department of forensic psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, said. “The drugs also distort people’s memories ... so they’re afraid to come forward: ‘Did that just happen, did he do that, would he do that?’ Especially if a person is powerful, they may be worried that they won’t be believed.”

The National Crime Victims Research & Treatment Center study reached a similar conclusion: “One of the more striking findings of this study was that only 16 percent of all rapes were reported to law enforcement. Notably, victims of drug-facilitated or incapacitated rape were somewhat less likely to report to the authorities than victims of forcible rape.””

Yes, some anonymous person on the Internet boldly claims that they "certainly would have reported the drugging within hours of waking up".

Cosby and his flying monkey Singer would have crushed you like a bug.

You are a man aren’t you?

over 99% of rapes are not reported because women are conditioned to think it is their fault and no one would believe them, esp if the rapist is someone with money/fame/power. Also, back then rape was something to be embarrassed about, the culture was that women were at fault and is still there for some on FR.

Also roofies and some others work quickly (within minutes) and are eliminated just as quickly. You may want to do some research.

Smell something not right? With 20+ women that have now come forward with similar stories and many with no motive to profit from them, it smells right to me. If one woman comes forward, I would be skeptical. 2, 3, or 4? A little skeptical, but more believable. But 20, 21, 22? Very difficult to not believe them. Even if you don’t believe half of them you still have over 10 women left.

The only thing that doesn’t smell right is the silence from Cosby. No comment was his reply to the latest. His lawyer attacked all of these earlier women. Why is he quiet with Johnson’s claim?
